Devices & Push Notifications

Manage mobile devices registered for push notifications and configure per-device preferences.

The Devices page lets you manage which mobile devices and browsers receive push notifications from Postpone, and configure notification preferences for each device.

Viewing Your Devices

Navigate to Settings > Devices to see all devices and browsers that are registered to receive push notifications. Each entry shows the device name, type, and when it was last active.

Adding a Device

Devices are registered automatically when you:

  1. Install the Postpone mobile app (iPhone or Android) and log in.
  2. Enable push notifications in your device settings when prompted.

The device appears on the Devices page once notifications are enabled.

Per-Device Notification Preferences

You can configure which accounts send notifications to each device:

  1. Go to Settings > Devices.
  2. Click on a device to view its notification settings.
  3. Select which connected accounts should send notifications to that device.
  4. Save your preferences.

This is useful if you want different devices to handle different accounts — for example, your personal phone receives notifications for your personal accounts while your work phone handles client accounts.

Managing Devices

From the Devices page, you can:

  • Enable or disable push notifications for a specific device.
  • Remove a device to stop it from receiving any notifications from Postpone.

Troubleshooting

If you're not receiving push notifications on a device:

  • Ensure the Postpone app is installed and you are logged in.
  • Check that notifications are enabled in your device's system settings for the Postpone app.
  • Verify the device is listed on the Settings > Devices page.
  • Make sure the relevant accounts are selected for that device.
