How do I cancel my Postpone subscription?

Learn how you can cancel your Postpone plan and what happens afterwards.

To cancel your Postpone subscription, follow these steps:

  1. Head to Settings > Danger Zone.
  2. Click the Cancel My Subscription button.
  3. Follow the prompts through to completion.

You will no longer be charged after canceling your subscription. You'll continue to have access to your Postpone account until the billing period ends.

To check when your subscription expires, navigate to Settings > Subscription and click the Manage Subscription button.

What happens when my subscription is canceled?

Your Postpone subscription will be canceled at the end of your billing period. Once that happens, your account is downgraded to the Free plan and the following changes take place:

  • Scheduled posts are moved to the Trash -- every post scheduled across your connected accounts is moved to the Trash rather than deleted outright. You can restore trashed posts as drafts or back to their original schedule within 30 days, after which they're permanently removed.
  • Extra social accounts are disabled -- your oldest connected accounts remain enabled, up to the number of accounts allowed on the Free plan. Any additional accounts are disabled rather than disconnected, which pauses posting and login access for those accounts.

Can I get my account back to how it was?

If you resubscribe to a paid plan, accounts that were disabled because of cancellation are automatically re-enabled as long as they fit within your new plan's account limit. If they don't fit, reach out to us via the Chat widget (bottom-right corner) and we'll help re-enable them.

Posts that were moved to the Trash can also be restored, as long as it's been fewer than 30 days since they were trashed. See Trash for more on restoring posts.
