Gemini lets you manage your Postpone content using natural language. Once connected, you can turn a Google Doc, a Gmail thread, or a Drive folder into scheduled posts directly from Gemini or the Gemini CLI.
Connecting Gemini Web
Gemini connects to Postpone over OAuth using a custom app — no API key required.
Open Gemini
Open Gemini in your browser on a computer.
Open Connected Apps
Open Settings, then Connected Apps. Under Custom apps, click Add a custom app.
Add the MCP server URL
Paste the Postpone MCP server URL, then click Next:
https://api.postpone.app/mcp
Sign in and approve access
Sign in to Postpone if prompted, then approve access to complete the connection.
Use Postpone in a chat
In a chat, type @ and select Postpone.
Connecting the Gemini CLI
If you use the Gemini CLI, add Postpone from your terminal:
gemini mcp add --transport http postpone https://api.postpone.app/mcp
Then run /mcp auth postpone inside Gemini CLI and sign in to Postpone to approve access.
Try It Out
Once connected, ask Gemini something like:
"Turn my latest blog draft in Google Docs into a LinkedIn post and an X thread, and schedule both for next week."
"Show me my scheduled Postpone posts for this week."
"What was my top performing post on Instagram in the last 7 days?"
See more example prompts in the introduction.
