With Postpone, you can schedule Facebook posts, Stories, and Reels in advance so that your content continuously appears in your followers' feeds.
Post Types
Posts
Standard Facebook posts can include:
- Text — Up to 10,000 characters.
- Images — Up to 10 images per post.
- Videos — A single video per post (cannot be combined with images).
Stories
- Stories contain a single image or video.
- Stories disappear after 24 hours.
Reels
- Reels contain a single video up to 60 seconds.
- Reels are always public — anyone on or off Facebook can view them.

How to Schedule a Facebook Post
- Click the Facebook Create a Post button.
- Select the post type (Post, Story, or Reel).
- Write your post content.
- Optionally attach images or a video.
- Optionally add a first comment (standard Posts only).
- Choose your desired Scheduled Date and Time.
- Click Schedule Post.
Your Facebook post will be submitted at the scheduled date and time.
Supported Features
Everything Postpone supports when scheduling to Facebook Pages:
- Posts — Publish up to 10,000 characters of text with up to 10 images, a single video, or no media at all.
- Stories — Publish a single image or video that disappears after 24 hours.
- Reels — Publish a single video of up to 60 seconds to your Page's Reels tab. Reels are always public.
- Cover images — Choose the frame or upload the image shown before your Reel plays. See Cover Images.
- Alt text — Add a description to each image on a standard Post so screen readers can describe it.
- First comment — Schedule a comment that Postpone submits on your Post immediately after it publishes, commonly used for hashtags. Available for standard Posts only.
- @mentions — Tag Facebook Pages by typing
@in your post text and searching for the Page by name. - Notification posting (optional) — Instead of letting Postpone publish the post for you, you can opt into a notification when it's time to post and publish from the Facebook app yourself. See Notification Posting.
- AI Post Writer — Generate or rewrite your post text. See Writing Individual Posts.
Postpone publishes to Facebook Pages. Personal profiles and Groups aren't supported — see Facebook Groups.
