Scheduling Threads Posts

With Postpone, you can schedule Threads posts and threads in advance so that your content continuously appears in your followers' feeds.

Post Specifications

• Character limit: Each post can have up to 500 characters.
• Media support: Each post can contain up to 20 images or media items.
• Hashtags: Threads only supports one hashtag per post.

Threads

• Threads can contain unlimited posts.
• All posts in a thread are scheduled for the same date and time.
• You can reorder posts within a thread by moving them up or down.
• Use thread numbering to automatically add numbering (e.g., 1/5, 2/5) to your thread posts.

How to Schedule a Threads Post

1. Click the Threads Create a Post button.
2. Write your post content (up to 500 characters).
3. Optionally attach images or media.
4. Configure reply settings if desired.
5. To create a thread, click Add another post to add more posts.
6. Choose your desired Scheduled Date and Time.
7. Click Schedule Post.

Your Threads post will be submitted at the scheduled date and time.

Supported Features

Everything Postpone supports when scheduling to Threads:

• Single posts and threads — Schedule one post, or an unlimited-length thread that publishes in order at the scheduled time.
• Thread numbering — Automatically append numbering (1/5, 2/5, and so on) to every post in a thread.
• Reordering — Move posts up or down to change their position in a thread before you schedule it.
• Final post — Automatically append a standing call-to-action post to the end of every thread, set once in Default Post Settings.
• Media — Attach up to 20 images or videos to each post in the thread.
• Link image attachment — Pull the preview image from a link in your post and attach it as media with one click.
• Alt text — Add a description to each image so screen readers can describe it.
• Polls — Attach a poll with 2–4 choices. Threads controls how long the poll stays open, so there's no length to set in Postpone.
• Topic tags — Set the topic your post is filed under on Threads. Leave it blank and Postpone uses the first hashtag in your text.
• Ghost posts — Publish a text-only post that Threads automatically archives after 24 hours. Ghost posts can't be part of a thread, carry media, or use a topic tag.
• Reply settings — Control who can reply to your post: everyone, only profiles you mention, or only profiles you follow.
• Auto-repost — Automatically repost your post after a delay. See Auto-Repost.
• Auto-remove — Automatically delete your post after a delay, optionally only when it hasn't reached a minimum number of likes. See Auto-Removal.
• @mentions — Tag other Threads accounts by typing @ in your post text.
• AI Post Writer and Thread Writer — Generate or rewrite a single post or a whole thread. See Writing Individual Posts and Writing Multi-Post Threads.
