A few TikTok features can only be added from within the TikTok app, so they aren't available when Postpone publishes a post automatically. These include:
- Trending sounds and music
- Links
- Stickers, filters, and other visual effects
- Interactive elements
TikTok's API doesn't make these features available to third-party tools, so this applies to every scheduling platform — not just Postpone.
Add music with notification posting
To use any of these features, schedule your post with notification posting. You still plan and time everything in Postpone, then put the finishing touches on your post in the TikTok app when it's time to publish.
When you add music to a TikTok post in Postpone, the post automatically switches to notification posting. The music you enter is saved as a reminder for you — it isn't sent to TikTok.
- Schedule your post in Postpone and enter the sound you want to use.
- When it's time to post, Postpone sends a notification to your phone.
- Open TikTok from the notification, add your sound or links, and publish.
