Clients let agencies organize connected social accounts by client. Each client can have their own social accounts, connect links, and team member assignments.
What Clients Enable
Once you assign social accounts to a client, you can:
- Filter by client — View Scheduled Posts, Post History, Analytics, and more scoped to a specific client's accounts.
- Schedule for a client — Quickly schedule posts to all social accounts assigned to a client at once.
- Invite clients to the portal — Give clients a dedicated login to review scheduled posts and upload media. See Client Portal and Inviting Clients to the Portal.
What Clients Don't Scope
Some features in Postpone are account-wide and are not filtered by client. You can simulate per-client organization using labels instead:
- Subreddits — The Subreddit Manager is shared across all clients. Use client-specific labels to group subreddits by client and schedule to all of them at once.
- Content Library — The media library is shared across all clients. Use client-specific labels to keep content organized. See Organizing with Labels for details.
Adding a Client
- Navigate to Settings > Clients.
- Click Add Client.
- Enter the client's name and email (optional).
- Click Save.
Once a client is created, a Client Connect Link is automatically generated for them. You can use this link to let clients connect their own social accounts securely.
Assigning Social Accounts
After connecting social accounts (either manually or via connect links), you can assign them to a client:
- Navigate to Settings > Clients.
- Click the client you want to manage.
- Use Assign Social Accounts to link connected accounts to the client.
Assigning accounts to clients helps you organize your dashboard and control which team members have access to which accounts.
Connecting Client Accounts
There are two ways for clients to connect their social accounts to your Postpone account:
- Client Connect Links — One link per client that lets them connect all of their social accounts. This is the recommended approach.
- Secure Connect Links — One link per social account, ideal for connecting a single account at a time.
Both options keep your account secure by letting clients connect from their own device without sharing credentials.
Editing or Removing Clients
From the Settings > Clients page, you can:
- Edit a client's name, email, or website.
- Delete a client to remove them from your account.
