With Postpone, you can schedule LinkedIn posts in advance so that your content continuously appears in your connections' feeds.
Post Types
Postpone supports scheduling the following types of LinkedIn posts:
- Text posts — Up to 3,000 characters.
- Media posts — Text with up to 20 images, or a single video.
- Article posts — Share a link as a LinkedIn article with a preview card.
Videos cannot be combined with images in the same post. Article posts cannot include media attachments.
How to Schedule a LinkedIn Post
- Click the LinkedIn Create a Post button.
- Write your post content (up to 3,000 characters).
- Optionally attach images, a video, or a link.
- Set the visibility (Public or Connections).
- Optionally add a first comment.
- Choose your desired Scheduled Date and Time.
- Click Schedule Post.
Your LinkedIn post will be submitted at the scheduled date and time.
Supported Features
Everything Postpone supports when scheduling to LinkedIn:
- Text posts — Publish up to 3,000 characters of text with no media.
- Image and multi-image posts — Attach a single image or up to 20 images to a post.
- Video posts — Attach a single video of up to 30 minutes.
- Article posts — Share a link so LinkedIn renders it as an article card with a title and preview image.
- Cover images — Choose the frame or upload the image shown before your video plays. See Cover Images.
- Alt text — Add a description to each image so screen readers can describe it.
- Visibility — Publish publicly, or limit a post to your connections. Connections-only is available on personal profiles; posts from Organization Pages are always public.
- First comment — Schedule a comment of up to 1,250 characters that Postpone submits on your post immediately after it publishes.
- @mentions — Tag people and LinkedIn Pages in your post text or first comment. See LinkedIn @Mentions.
