Auto-removal lets you schedule posts to be automatically deleted after a set period of time. This is useful for time-sensitive promotions, rotating content, or keeping your profile clean.
How It Works
- When scheduling a post, enable the Auto-Remove option.
- Set the time delay — how long after the post is published before it should be removed (e.g., 24 hours, 3 days).
- Optionally, set a like threshold — if the post reaches this many likes before the removal time, it will be kept instead of deleted.
- Once the post is published, Postpone tracks the removal time and automatically deletes the post when the timer expires.

Setting Up Auto-Removal
Per-Post
When scheduling a post, look for the Auto-Remove section in the post editor:
- Toggle Auto-Remove on.
- Enter the number of hours or days after publishing to remove the post.
- Optionally, set a minimum likes threshold. Posts that reach this number of likes will not be removed.
Like Threshold
The like threshold is an optional safeguard that prevents high-performing posts from being removed. When a post is scheduled for auto-removal:
- Postpone checks the post's engagement before removing it.
- If the post has reached the minimum like threshold, it is kept and the removal is skipped.
- If the post has not reached the threshold, it is removed as scheduled.
This lets you automatically clean up underperforming content while preserving posts that are gaining traction.
Canceling Auto-Removal
If you change your mind after a post has been published, you can cancel the scheduled removal:
- Find the post in your Submitted posts list.
- Open the post details.
- Click Cancel Auto-Remove to prevent the post from being deleted.
