When you delete a scheduled post or draft, it is moved to the Trash instead of being permanently removed. This gives you a safety net to recover posts that were deleted by mistake.
Accessing the Trash
Navigate to the Trash page from the main navigation. You will see a table of all trashed posts across your connected social accounts.
Automatic Expiration
Posts are automatically removed from the Trash after 30 days. After that point, they cannot be recovered.
Restoring a Post
Trashed posts can be restored in two ways:
- Restore as Draft -- moves the post to your Drafts and opens the post editor so you can review and reschedule it.
- Restore to Schedule -- puts the post back on the calendar at its original scheduled time, without opening the editor. This option is disabled if the original scheduled time has already passed, or if the post requires approval (in which case, restore it as a Draft instead).
To restore an individual post, open its Actions menu and choose Restore as Draft or Restore to Schedule.
You can also select multiple posts using the checkboxes, then click Restore as Drafts or Restore to Schedule to restore them in bulk.
Permanently Deleting Posts
If you want to remove a post immediately without waiting 30 days:
- Open a post's Actions menu and click Permanently Delete to remove it immediately.
- Select multiple posts using the checkboxes and click Permanently Delete to remove them in bulk.
- Click Empty Trash to permanently delete all trashed posts at once.
Permanent deletion cannot be undone.
